Water puppet troupe performs in France

Vietnam’s culture introduced at Belgium’s expo

Addressing the opening ceremony of the event, Ambassador to Belgium Pham Sanh Chau said Vietnam is one of the two countries chosen as the main theme of the expo “Let’s explore Vietnam”.

Bat Trang pottery - gorgeous simplicity (May 1, 2007)
Bat Trang pottery earns a meritorious position in a private showcase of around 7,000 objects characterising different ethnic groups in Vietnam. "Some people like fancy things but I am attracted by Bat Trang pottery's simplicity and I prefer things that were made for the people," said Mark S. Rapoport, a doctor from the US, who is the owner of the collection that is being exhibited at Hanoi's central Hang Bun street.
